We are recently retired Pacific Northwest boaters that have been living aboard our Hylas 44 sailboat, Warm Rain for over 6 years. The boat name "Warm Rain" will remind us of where we came from (where it rains a lot), and urge us on to where we would rather be (where the rain will be warm). We have been boating in the Pacific Northwest for over 17 years and have always planned on doing some serious offshore cruising in warmer climates. In August 2006 we will turn Warm Rain south to Mexico, then on to the Marquesas, Tuamotos, French Polynesia, Fiji and New Zealand. From there on it is anybody's guess where we will wind up.
