Buggy!

A couple nights ago we were set upon by a hoard of what looked like flying ants. They landed on the boat in droves and found their way into the boat through every tiny crack in our hatch and port screens. Luckily they didn't bite. We sprayed the screens with Raid and also spent over two hours squishing/killing the critters. We don't know why they appeared all of a sudden. Maybe it was some sort of "hatching" or maybe lack of wind brought them out to the anchorage. We spent the following morning cleaning up thousands of dead bugs off of the outside decks as well.

Other boats in the anchorage also got attacked and we haven't seen them since. Hopefully it was a one-time occurrence.
